Our lawful basis for using your information
Depending on why we are processing your information, we may rely on:
Steps before entering into a contract
For example, where you ask us to assess your requirements, provide information, arrange a survey or prepare a quotation.
Performance of a contract
Where you become a customer and we need your information to provide the agreed services.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Enquiry information that does not result in a customer relationship will normally be retained for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless there is a reason to keep it for longer.
Where you become a customer, some information may need to be retained for longer because of warranty, installation, accounting, tax, insurance or legal requirements.

Protecting our enquiry form
Our Energy Profile and enquiry form are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps us tell genuine enquiries apart from automated spam.

Our website uses fonts provided by Google Fonts. When you visit our website, your browser connects to Google’s servers to load these fonts, which means your IP address and basic browser information are shared with Google. Google may process this information outside the United Kingdom.
We use Google Fonts on the basis of our legitimate interest in presenting our website consistently and clearly across different devices.
More information is available in the Google Fonts FAQ and the Google Privacy Policy.
Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we limit access to personal information to people and service providers who have a legitimate reason to use it.
International data transfers
Some of the software and service providers used to operate our website or communications may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law are in place.
